48 Hours in Cannes red dress actress on red carpet

A Gubbmeister Films Production
For the VSITV Network

The VSITV Network is currently developing new documentary and festival-based projects for 2026 and beyond, including on-location coverage from the Cannes Film Festival.

Filmmaker John Gubba announced: “I run established media platforms with significant international reach, and I’m expanding my coverage into film, culture, and festivals.

New York based actress and model Gizele Taveres and runway photographer Simon Evans from Alaska, both newcomers to Cannes, have already agreed to be featured in the series.

For documentary filmmaker John Gubba it looks like beig a busy year of production across multiple genres. Currently producer directing what promises to be a headline grabbing documentary for the Amazon with Anthea Turner and her sister Wendy, there are several other films in the pipeline.

Already completed in 2026 is a 4-part mini series with young disabled football fan Alex Nield who is an inspirational social media influencer and travels the world following Manchester United. There are future plans for a cinematic festival release.

The series launch coincided with Gubba’s #manutdthereligion network peaking at 6.5 million views on Facebook and over a quarter of a million views on YouTube during one 28-day period in January-February.
